About the event
This course will provide code officials, residential builders, and architects with a complete look beyond Energy Code practices incorporating high performance construction technologies and systems. The course will cover what some contractors are already doing across New York State with their innovative approaches and surpassing the minimum requirements set by the Energy Code. In addition to introducing some innovative technologies, we will focus on case studies based on interviews with existing above-code builders and how they have successfully integrated building practices that increase energy performance, are more sustainable and resilient, and still maintain, if not improve their bottom line.
There are 1.5 NYDOS credits associated with this course. Credit will not be given if you are not logged in using your own name and meet the time threshold requirements.
